Why the estimates disagree
Trackers count identifiable public profiles, not payroll, so totals vary by method. Revelio Labs puts Slack at 1,805 for March 2026. LeadIQ, which builds its company records from contact and profile data, lists approximately 3,000 for June 2026.
Neither is an audited figure. The same gap shows up whenever a company files no headcount of its own, a pattern visible in tracker-based counts for private firms like Stripe and in workforce estimates published for OpenAI.
